The Solid Wood & Furniture Company uses solid Australian native hardwoods, both new and recycled, to craft quality furniture for indoor and outdoor use. Each custom made piece is designed in collaboration with the client, as a unique “piece of art”, crafted to suit individual needs.
All the materials used by the Solid Wood & Furniture Company are of high quality. We use real materials: stone, timber, iron, copper…….nothing plastic!
Strong handmade tables, kitchen island benches, bookshelves are all made to last.
The client's wishes are paramount in the design of bespoke furniture. Functionality is a major component of the finished product and each piece needs to meet its day to day “requirements” for its new family.
All the pieces that leave the workshop of The Solid Wood & Furniture Company, must have “awe-inspiring” qualities. Friends and visitors will just want to touch your new table or bench.
We also specialise in building maintenance projects, both residential and commercial. Repairing, replacing or upgrading your woodwork, steelwork or mechanical services is all part of the service.
While being based in Newcastle, work in Sydney, the Hunter Valley and other areas can often be done at resonable rates.
